This is the first time I’m hearing about this brand, CXXVI, and from the looks of their new 2010 Spring line, I’m kind of interested. The new line boasts a nautical theme mixed with vintage elements. The line includes duffel bags and beanies. mashKulture rated it a 7/10, but I’m giving it a 8.5 for repping NY. via mashKULTURE

Just received the new ALL GONE street culture yearbook from La MJC, my third year in a row. Haven’t ordered anything from Colette in ages, probably since the 2008 book came out. DHL guy handed this to me in a heavily padded envelope, PAR AVION, from Paris with love.
(I haven’t been to Paris since ‘95… in fact that was the last time I’ve been to Europe. I think its time for a visit soon. haha)

If anyone can hook me up with the first 2006 one, lemme know

CLOUT and Gold Coin has teamed up to produce the ‘Fuck the Buff” t-shirt box set, which includes the shirt, some stickers from both brands and a Rusto fat cap. The set is nicely delivered in a custom made box, featuring both brands’ logos over a pattern of buff marks and paint drips. The co-lab honors the upcoming issue of CLOUT; they decided to sit down with GOLD COIN brand director Three and get some insight on the Bay Area based brand. Look out for the issue release and box set. via CLOUT and GOLDCOIN

So its been announced. (and looks like GME beat me to the post but oh well. haha)
What do you think?
$499 for 16GB and WiFi, all the way up to the flagship model, $829 64GB with WiFi and 3G.
I don’t think I need it, but hell I said that about the iPhone too and look who got one the day after launch. haha.

Maybe I’d get one after I know it’s Jailbreakable… there’s a bunch of Jailbreak apps I’d like to run on that bad boy. Like 3G unrestricter, so I can run the SlingPlayer app on that 9.7 inch screen where ever I am.

So, it seem that we’re making loads of progress on our blind pursuit for technology. Apple, in the lead of course, has unvieled their latest creation. They have finally managed to merge the computer into a slightly larger iTouch. Wonderful. Your computer will be with you every step you go, allowing you to access information about anything, anywhere. But you can’t find a cure for AIDs. Nice. I hope to get one in the year 2015, I can just feel the price rising on the back of my neck. lmao via engadget

Finally, I can get my real creep on rocking this shit. Mishka just released their ‘Keep Watch’ hoodie for 2010. Fit this up with the ‘Keep Watch‘ Fitted and Freddy ain’t got nothing on your creep game, guaranteed. The hoodie is dappered in three colorways, black grey and green. You can get yours straight from China @ essense. via MashKulture

I remember when I got my first Cortez Classics, blk leather with the patent leather check. I would’ve save my money from then if I knew this was the furture. The ‘Year of the Tiger’ sports the fur Nike Swoosh and heel detail. The main body is rocking the tiger print, and some nice red lining to add more detail to the shoe, or should it be a claw? Feel free to experiment with the laces, too; those come in tiger print and black. Even the box these Classics come in is crazy technical. It pulls towards you at an upward motion, diagonal to the corners of a box. G.M.E. rating(excluding feel and actual functionality): 8.5/10 via UrbanLOOK

What is crazy about art, is that it is so versitale. You can express almost anything with a wide range of medium to do so on. On my own quest to fill my thirst, I’ve come across a lot of crazy shit. My favorite being Josh Keyes ‘Fragment‘ exhibit; but here I show you a runner up. Design mixed properly with function, the Smilodon Californicus is a bubbler (bowl in which water is applied), made by an artist named Clinton. Most of the inspiration came from the Sabre Toothed tiger, who probably would be proud of this replication in bubbler form that measures 13” with a 6” tail. So sick is the thought, I ran to my own stash to get a better view, yadadamean?! Iskadamean. Cool. via ThatAintArt
