Damn its been a while since I posted anything about shoes.
NSW (Nike SportsWear, Not NSFW haha) is coming out with a tribute to the 20 year anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down and the Pegasus model shoe. Good concept, I like the concrete swoosh representing the Berlin Wall. overall a clean colorway. And if I didn’t have so many shoes I’d probably be on this like stink on shit.
My guess this is a November 9th release to coincide with the official Berlin celebration of the 20th anniversary.
Probably showing my age here, but I remember in elementary school hearing about the Berlin Wall coming down, and seeing the footage of people celebrating in the streets. One of my classmates also got a piece of the wall somehow and we passed it around in class. I didn’t understand what was so great about it until years later. Oh to be a kid again.
This past Sunday my friend Havar taught a studio lighting and Nude (Akt) photography class and I hosted it in my makeshift studio space (AKA the warehouse).
Here’s a shot I did using my Nikon D90 and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ultra-wide angle lens at 13mm.

I know my dude Johny has been interested in photography for some time, and I’m just now becoming interested with film. Everyday I learn something new about this craft, whether it been angles, lighting, lenses, hell, even costs and quality (now people are hypy over HD). The newest and coolest product I’ve found thus far are these Dakine Photo Packs. On my quest for some new skate shoes (mine Lakai’s are super Fucked up, yo!!), I stumbled upon these packs and was stun, although I shouldn’t have been. Seeing as though there’s a compliment product for everything under the sun; peanut butter and jelly, ham and cheddar, shoe lace and sneak, you know, the reg.
They have four packs: the Sequence, Mission Photo, Reload and Camera Block. My favourite in perticular is the Mission Photo Pack, only because it has that little extra space above the camera storage for whateva else you need, although the camera space is kind of limited. Yeah this has made it’s way around the gaming blogs recently because of it’s obvious nod to 8-bit gaming. But I like this track much for Adam Tensta’s part, I’m looking forward to hearing more from Adam in the future, and I’m kinda kicking myself in the ass for not seeing him when he rolled through DC a few weeks ago. Someday I should just go visit Stockholm.

Not the first time she’s been featured on a streetwear tee… Here’s one she’s done for Japanese brand Devilock. Someday, Japan will learn to use english spell check (Distiny?) I did post about some Devilock x Rio tees in the past btw.

In other news about Maria Ozawa, an Indonesian production is planning to bring her in for a comedy film (non-porn) about an obsessed fan kidnapping her, however the conservatives are not too keen about allowing her in the country due to her reputation.
