Hey blog,

I’m down in Tampa this week to spend time with family and my GF during my birthday (tomorrow) and Independence Day weekend.

It’s been really nice the past few days to relax and let the stresses that build up in me when I’m up in the DMV area just melt off.

I’ll be in line at SPoT tomorrow morning to grab a pair of Blue Lobsters. Thats my birthday present from my woman :D

I may post pics from the line and the unboxing tomorrow. Stay peeled.

MJ

Nice tribute piece put up last night in LA by Rime & Augor.

RIP King of Pop. Although the past 20 years may not have been so kind to you, millions of fans remember why you attracted so much attention to yourself in the first place. Truly an evolutionary-revolutionary figure in entertainment and will be missed by people all over the world.

Hah, nice. I like AA shirts for their feel, and their questionable morals in advertising (link NSFW). Now you can sleep on the same soft touch fabric they use for T-shirts.

Peep some pics here of mildly attractive models sprawled on them.

I haven’t played Samurai Showdown (Samurai Spirits in Japan) since the 4th game. After watching this, I have an itch to play as my old fave Kibagami Genjuro.

Damn! Definitely the skate shoe you take out the box to close in a glass case.   Nice work done between Seventh Letter and Vox. Ez

Mentioned earler, the KAWS x Sorayama collab toy has new pics that KAWS posted on his Honeyee.com blog page. Apparently he worked with Medicom for 3 years to perfect it.

Photos from COMPLEX, for an issue coming in August.

Toy drops at OFake store 6/27/09.

Sure hope it’s somewhat affordable. All the blogs are basically repeating the same shit, saying they hear it could be about a grand…

“High Fidelity” by M11X

Mixx

I’ve seen many a chair in my lifetime, but when my eyes laided upon this masterpiece, I was taken abreast for moments.   Four speakers installed on the back rest, your vitural dj booth (turntable, classic)  in the seat; and all transportable.   The chair itself makes known the bridge between music and art and lifestyle. more info JuxtapozArt&CultureMag

Also, realize “High Fidelity” is not the name of the chair, but the collection as a whole.   M11x, the artist, has produced a number of pieces “toying with the power of music and endless design possibilities [as] he brings beats, rhythm, and life into painting, furniture, and mixed media sculpture”.

I’m really digging the art, so I’ll keep his posts coming through. ez

iPhone 3G S

Got mine today with virtually no hassle. The mall I went to had a crazy line for the Apple store, yet I got mine from the AT&T store in the same mall. No line. What, did people just want to wait in line for fun at the Apple Store or want to be part of the Apple buying experience?

I got the 32Gb unit in white. Definitely snappier. Couldn’t have launched at a more perfect time, my original iPhone 8Gb from launch 2 years ago crapped out on me 2 days ago. (How convenient)

McFly 2015 HyperDunk Low

Didn’t see this one coming, but I think I like it more than the original McFly Hyperdunk Hi Supreme.

I like the colorway, and I wasn’t willing to shell out what the aftermarket wanted for the original Hi Supremes. THe Nike SB Zoom Tre AD had this colorway too, but I’m not a fan of the Zoom Tre look.

Scheduled for a 2010 release and still incorporates Flywire tech. If the hype has died down a bit and people aren’t dishing out $700+ for them, these may make my future cop list.
