2009 is a new year, something to look foward to in these harsh days of hot winter (at least in Tampa), so it’s with great pleasure that I bring you Japanese Skate brand T19 , which has recently teamed up with clothing brand Medorra for new, mad traction skateboard wheels. Collaborations are hitting on all skateboard products, from decks, to trucks, wheels and tees. Look for lots more cool collabs to hit in 2009.via bonza.com

Contest running until Feb 28th. Grand prize, 9 G’s and a produced T-shirt by a respected Japanese brand that heavily focuses on design. Not a bad deal.

あけましておめでとうございます (Happy New Year)
Hope everyone has recovered well from new years festivities.
Now that we’ve welcomed ‘09 in properly (well, some probably will continue doing so the next two nights), some resolutions are in order, yes?
I heard a stat on the radio that 30% of all new years resolutions are broken by Jan 30th or something to that effect.
Maybe by me putting mine out on the blog for the world to see will help me to keep mine.
Here’s a rough list for myself.
- Continue not to smoke (6 months strong, and I’m not even worried about relapsing)
- Eat healthier (Gotta work on this one, I’m eating a Taquito as I’m typing this)
- Curb late night snacking
- Start running again (increase my physical activities at least)
- Save money (just opened a second savings account a few weeks ago)
- Stop impulse buying (this I admit will be one of the most difficult)
- Continue my Japanese studies
- Get Radar/NOIS established with a product beyond a daily blog
I think these are relatively easy ones. Got any for yourselves?

Yep, I had to be the lame asshole to say that today. It’s so clever and true! *Guffaw, snort, chortle*
Be safe out there kiddies. No idea what kind of mischief/misfortune can happen on New Years.
2008, nice knowing you, ya bastard.

Giving you artsy food for thought for your right brain is FALSE art-zine. They have released their inaugural print art-zine FALSE Magizine that has been in processing for almost 2 whole years. That should explain why it’s going to be limited to only 100 copies individually hand made, hand-bound, hand numbered, hand-signed by the FALSE du0, and everything else you can do with a book and your hands. via HighSnob

Mohawked out, ears pierced, eight inch strong figure in the evolutionary trifecta rocking a band tee and mugging its favorite vinyl record from that year. Yes, in January Kidrobot will be releasing the “KidPunk” edition of the Kidrobot toys. These figures will pay homage to the punk scene. Look for them January 8. via HighSnob
